Our goal is to be credible, transparent, and fair in all our contents posted on this platform.

This Editorial Policy describes the process of how our content is produced, edited, and updated.

Our Editorial Mission

Deccan Reviews focuses on reviewing movies, critical and opinion-based criticism of movies produced across the Indian cinema. We cover Hindi, Tamil, Telugu Malayalam and other language movies.

We are of the opinion that film criticism must go beyond mere ratings. The purpose of our articles is to analyze storytelling, performances, direction, cinematography, music, and experience of the viewers.

All reviews are based on the actual opinion of the author who viewed the movie.

Editorial Independence

Any reviews and articles that are posted on Deccan Reviews have been written by independent authors.

The editorial staff members of our platform do not receive any payment and/or incentive to write favourable reviews or coverage. The views we give in our reviews are only based on the experience of viewing and analysis done by the author.

Every review that is posted on Deccan Reviews is founded on the author’s own viewing of the film. Authors examine several issues of the movie, such as:

Hey, my name is Yash, and presently residing in Bangalore, and I am here to assist you make the right call on whether a film is worth your time. I post critical reviews of the recent Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam releases, so that you never have to walk into a theatre with second thoughts.

I am Sagar, born in Lucknow, and am passionate about cinema, not just watching movies, but also analysing them and engaging in critical discussions. In this case, I will be talking about my own experiences of watching films, mostly Hindi films.

Dhruv
Dhruv is the primary contributor of the Tamil and Telugu movies coverage in Deccan Reviews. In his reviews he concentrates on the analysis of narrative, performance and the overall impression of the movie by these industries.
